Miss B is four months old today! She continues to melt our hearts as we see some of her cute personality peek through.
Baisden is doing great! She is healthy and content, happiest when there is activity going on around her to watch. She weighed 13 pounds, 10 ounces at her 4 month checkup (50th percentile) and had to get two shots. She is mostly a serious baby, but we catch some grins every now and then...
Speaking of grins, she belly laughed for the first time this week. I was playing with her on the floor before bath time and she must have thought I did something funny. She giggled and giggled and giggled and so did I. We had so much fun!
She is on the same great schedule, eating about 5 times a day. She gets two bottles while I am at work and takes 7-8 ounces each time. She is quite the spitter upper so we usually go through some bibs! She continues to sleep through the night most nights, although her teeth are giving her some problems now. We also dropped the swaddle this week...I am either wrapping her below the arms or putting her in a sleep sack which she seems to like. The first night without the swaddle was rough but now she can find her thumb, which seems to suit her fine. Looks like we've got a thumb sucker.
She loves her Baby Einstein activity deal...thank goodness for this thing! She has learned how to spin whatever that thing is called and press the buttons to play music. She LOVES music and anything that makes noise. She has also learned to blow bubbles and make spitting noises.
She is still the happiest in the mornings. Smiling at me and Josh like she is so excited we have come to get her!
She has about a 10 minute max tolerance of the Bumbo before she is fidgeting around. Her toys (the elephant is her favorite) keep her entertained long enough for me to pop something in the oven. Which I am trying to do more of. I'm still working on finding the balance between work and motherhood, but I knew it would be a process. We will get there.
Love my little pumpkin! Can't believe how fast she is growing up and learning new things.
Happy 4 months, Bay Bay!
