The next house project I am going to tackle is my laundry room. Dining room project is on hiatus until I can find some Greek key trim that won't break the bank. Our laundry room is small, so it needs to be efficient and pretty at the same time. Below is what the laundry room looked like before we moved in. Bless that sink. It needs some help.
Below is my inspiration, from Pinterest. I plan on sewing (this should be interesting) a pleated skirt to dress up the sad little sink.
I've ordered this fabric from Forsyth Fabrics, my go to for any fabric needs. They didn't have it in the store so I hope it's as pretty in person as I think it is going to be.
I already own the 2 prints below. The cow is in our downstairs bathroom and the precious pig has yet to find its place. I've always wanted to have a farm animal wall and I think the laundry room is the perfect spot for a pop of color. I need a third farm animal, so I'm keeping my eye out. I bought the cow years ago at a local home store that is now closed and my sister gave me the pig...I found them both in past sales on Antique Farm House so I'll keep checking back!
That's the plan...I have lots of "plans" these days. Hopefully they will make it to the completed stage at some point!
