Last Week in iPhone Photos

Last week was C.R.A.Z.Y. in every sense of the word! I had an event every night Monday through Thursday (plus a couple site visits scattered in there too), J was traveling for work and B was working on a new tooth and therefore not sleeping at night. There are some days where I think I just won't make it...but somehow, the day always passes and I do make it. Even though I may not know how I've gotten there. This is life, and I tell you...there is never a dull moment!

We kicked off Monday night with a dinner for 50 guests in downtown Atlanta at White Oak Kitchen (above).

Then on Tuesday, we worked to create a Mad Men theme to welcome guests to Atlanta. The event was held downtown at 200 Peachtree and it was really beautiful and fun too. The entrance was really incredible...before (left) and after (right).

I really loved the martini centerpieces with the olives made of green mums and red roses.

Another exciting part of the week included a hard hat tour of the Center for Civil and Human Rights, going up in Centennial Olympic Park near the Georgia Aquarium and the World of Coca-Cola. It is going to be a really impressive facility which will also offer event space, set to open in May 2014.

Wednesday night, a VIP Reception for a group of 175 that included a harpist, ice sculpture and simple forals.

And finally, the grand finale - an on-field event at Turner Field, home of the Atlanta Braves...until 2017! I cannot wait to get our professional pictures from this evening. Although it was quite chilly, the event was a huge success with batting practice, lots of photo opps and a talent show. We had appearances by Homer and the Tomahawk Team, stilt walkers, back sketch artists, cotton candy and a really great band. One of the coolest, most challenging events I've done in 7.5 years. I'm glad it's over :)

Whew! And this weekend, I breathed. I sat down. I talked to my husband. I spent time with my baby who, thankfully, cut that tooth and slept much better. I ate 3 meals a day.  I recovered. I was happy to just be. I was thankful for the week but also relieved it was behind me. Now it's onto the next!! Have a great week, everyone!
